Jenny is a long-time reporter and host for public radio and television. She’s covered everything from immigration to politics, social issues to the environment, entertainment to tech.


Jenny spent the last six years working as a reporter and producer at KCRW, the NPR affiliate in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she worked in San Diego as a television anchor and reporter at XETV and KSWB.


She has appeared on NPR, WNYC, KQED, CNN, CNN International and Fox News.

Jenny is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles where she received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She was an award-winning member of the UCLA Debate team.


Jenny has been recognized by the Los Angeles Press Club, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists, among others.


Jenny recently received a first place Radio Feature award from the LA Press Club for her story about the rising rates of homelessness among LA’s youth.


On the television side, Jenny was awarded an Emmy for her story based on her travels to Uganda with a humanitarian group doing work there.  She was Emmy nominated for her coverage of President Obama’s inauguration.
